New from us: Public lighting with presence detection

Thanks to our new collaboration with the Swedish company Prisma Tibro, we are now offering public lighting systems with presence detection. A look at Denmark, where the systems have been used successfully for years, shows the impressive benefits.

Denmark has been leading the way for years: Environmental protection and high savings

The intelligent presence detection technology enables cities to switch the lighting to full strength only when the presence of people, vehicles or bicycles is actually detected. Savings examples from several Danish cities prove the impressive savings potential of up to 83.68% in energy costs. This technology also makes a significant contribution to reducing light pollution by minimizing lighting during quiet periods.

Flexible control and individual customization

This technology can be used to efficiently illuminate individual streets, entire blocks of flats or even entire city districts. In the basic state, the lanterns provide minimal lighting. When a presence is detected, the lanterns light up to a brighter level, whereby neighboring lanterns can also gradually become brighter. This brightening and dimming takes place smoothly and unobtrusively so as not to disturb the surroundings.

Easy maintenance and increased operating efficiency

The maintenance of lighting systems is revolutionized by integration into an app. Every single luminaire can be monitored individually, with details such as maintenance intervals, age of the luminaires and the data of the last fitter being visible. Error messages are automatically sent to a predefined e-mail address, eliminating the need for periodic checks and unnecessary troubleshooting.

Increased sense of security

Surveys of the Danish population have shown that the preventive lighting technology significantly increases the feeling of safety at night. Security services and authorities are very satisfied with the new technology, which not only brings savings but also contributes to the safety and satisfaction of citizens.

Peter Henkst, CEO of Traviation Digital Traffic Solutions: "With this innovative technology, we are setting new standards in public lighting and actively contributing to the sustainable and safe design of our cities."
